Christine Wergeland Sørbye oversees the development of the innovation district Oslo Science City. Sørbye holds extensive project management experience from the City of Oslo, including writing the city’s official campus strategy for developing Oslo into a knowledge capital and business friendly city. Sørbye holds an advanced MA in Education from the University of Oslo, where she specialized in leadership, organizational theory and didactics.
Katrine Vetlesen joined Oslo Science City in June 2022 from the position of Vice President Energy Innovation & Programs at Energy Valley. She has been responsible for establishing Energy Valley’s innovation platform; developing the cluster’s transformational ability and innovation systems. Katrine holds a degree in civil engineering within telecommunications and a MA in business development and strategy from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology NTNU and has also attended the master’s programme for innovation managment at the BI Norwegian Business School.
From 1 August 2024, Kristine Dahl is employed as communications manager at Oslo Science City. She is a lawyer and speechwriter, and has worked as a communications advisor and speechwriter for several ministers, as well as for the mayor of Oslo. Kristine has good insight into how political decisions are made after having worked closely with politicians for a long time, both at state and municipal level. Kristine is devoted to use clear language, good wording and a consistent and good use of communication to achieve a stated goal. Dahl has a law degree from UiO and a Master's in EU law from Trinity College Dublin. She also has further education in rhetoric from BI School of Economics. She speaks English, French and has good knowledge of Italian.
Jenny works as an administration coordinator for Oslo Science City. Previously, she worked with research on digitization and artificial intelligence at the research program Digital Assurance in the department for research and development in DNV. She has a master's degree in technology, innovation and knowledge (TIK), with specialization in innovation studies and circular economy, and a bachelor's degree in psychology from UiO.
