Christine Wergeland Sørbye oversees the development of the innovation district Oslo Science City. Sørbye holds extensive project management experience from the City of Oslo, including writing the city’s official campus strategy for developing Oslo into a knowledge capital and business friendly city. Sørbye holds an advanced MA in Education from the University of Oslo, where she specialized in leadership, organizational theory and didactics.

Katrine Vetlesen joined Oslo Science City in June 2022 from the position of Vice President Energy Innovation & Programs at Energy Valley. She has been responsible for establishing Energy Valley’s innovation platform; developing the cluster’s transformational ability and innovation systems. Katrine holds a degree in civil engineering within telecommunications and a MA in business development and strategy from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology NTNU and has also attended the master’s programme for innovation managment at the BI Norwegian Business School.

Dr. Bente Mikkelsen is a prominent figure in global health, renowned for her extensive experience and significant contributions to public health and development. Currently, she serves as the Senior Advisor to the innovation district Oslo Science City, where she leverages her vast expertise to foster innovation and collaboration within the public and private sector. Dr. Mikkelsen brings over 11 years of senior management experience from the World Health Organization (WHO).

Adeleine Bjelland

Adeleine Bjelland works with communications, administration and strategic partner contact at Oslo Science City. Adeleine has a complex background in political science, business policy, program management, startups and innovation. She previously worked with corporate partnerships in Startuplab, where she gained insight from partners and competitors, and developed new concepts for corporate innovation. At EY, she worked with a number of different sectors such as health, transportation, IT, venture capital and renewable energy within disciplines such as risk management, project management, change management and market analysis. She has an M.Sc. in Political Science from the University of Oslo and worked in the Business Policy Department at NHO during her master's studies.
