Christine Wergeland Sørbye oversees the development of the innovation district Oslo Science City. Sørbye holds extensive project management experience from the City of Oslo, including writing the city’s official campus strategy for developing Oslo into a knowledge capital and business friendly city. Sørbye holds an advanced MA in Education from the University of Oslo, where she specialized in leadership, organizational theory and didactics.
Katrine Vetlesen joined Oslo Science City in June 2022 from the position of Vice President Energy Innovation & Programs at Energy Valley. She has been responsible for establishing Energy Valley’s innovation platform; developing the cluster’s transformational ability and innovation systems. Katrine holds a degree in civil engineering within telecommunications and a MA in business development and strategy from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology NTNU and has also attended the master’s programme for innovation managment at the BI Norwegian Business School.
Dr. Bente Mikkelsen is a prominent figure in global health, renowned for her extensive experience and significant contributions to public health and development. Currently, she serves as the Senior Advisor to the innovation district Oslo Science City, where she leverages her vast expertise to foster innovation and collaboration within the public and private sector. Dr. Mikkelsen brings over 11 years of senior management experience from the World Health Organization (WHO).
